Mst Rafia Islam

AI Researcher in Human-Centric AI, Legal AI and Computational Social Science

I am Mst Rafia Islam, a fourth-year undergraduate student pursuing Law at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). My research interests lie in exploring the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Human-Centric approaches, and Legal Perspectives.

I am actively engaged with the Computational Intelligence and Operations Lab (CIOL), focusing on human centric AI, Legal AI, and Computational Social Science. My research has been published in workshops of CHI'24, and I am working on papers targeting EMNLP'24, CSCW'25 and Journals.
In addition to my research work, I have strong experience in content design and project management within the Edu-tech sector, having worked with 10 Minute School and Mojaru.

I am actively seeking research opportunities in Legal AI or human-centric AI domains. I'm adaptable and quick to learn, able to lead teams and projects effectively. I enjoy exploring new topics, sharing knowledge, improving skills, trying out new approaches, and pushing my limits.
